GOOD SHEPHERD SCHOOL AT A GLANCE

Good Shepherd English Medium School was started in the year 1989 in Nandyal of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh,under the private managementof Mr.L.T.Ratna Paul as the Director and Mrs.L.T.Jessy Paul as the Principal.It began with 75 students studying Nursery to III classes supported by three teachers.

Driven by honesty, hard work and service, the school quickly grew in strength and stature. Today it serves 6000 students through 380 staff and is recognized as one of the few schools in the state known for high academic standards.

The school has many long standing staff whose untiring efforts keep it in its successful orbit. The school has a consistent output of 100% results in S.S.C exams in its last 21 batches. The school has become a hub for sports and games and has organized state level and national level competitions through recognized bodies of Cricket, Handball and Ball badminton.

The school has excelled in Science fairs, Karate, Chess and Art at State and National level. It’s students have been receiving Prathibha Awards from Government of Andhra Pradesh in academics and Star of India and Star of Andhra awards and SAAP scholarships in various sports and games consistently.It has to its credit hundreds of state players and around 100 National players in various disciplines.

The school has consciously designed a holistic approach to education and implements it through various school committees. This aims at moulding a child into multifaceted personality by providing multiple opportunities to draw out their diverse innate talents.
